    Yea... sucks eh.

As you all know, I had all that legit pure to sell, and had it in the form of a larger item. Found someone offering to buy, they paid the cash, the item was sent.

A few hours later.. guess what.

    CHARGEBACK!

    So there goes $300 :(

My question is, is there any way to reverse the reversal...
or any witch doctors that can get it back

WHY DOES PAYPAL ALLOW THAT CRAP ANYWAY!!

For future reference, is there any way to STOP a reversal?

respond to the claim, right now paypal is holding the money, it hasn't gone back to the buyer yet

respond stating that it was the sale of a non-tangible goods from a virtual pet website, and that the items were delivered immediately after the payment was received.

as there is no proof of items not being delivered the money should be returned to you as their policy doesn't cover non-tangible items

ive been chargebacked a few times and never once lost the money

by the way, if you've got nothing left to lose on neopets, screenshot any details of the transaction you have, and post it up on the bd chat, guy wont get far with the neopoints id guess

RnF: Your theory would work, except by the time I woke up and realised, the "temporary hold" had already been released..

The person requested a stop payment through their bank.

you should only take paypal payments through the gift option so that the other party can't file a chargeback
if the other person makes a mistake and doesn't send via gift, be wary and make them send it again

it doesn't matter to paypal, he doesn't even have to state what he was selling, when i spoke with them over a 300$ value chargeback all i stated was i was selling non tangible items from a virtual gaming website, nothing more

Well If they don't care then I guess it's worth a shot. $300 is a big loss.

worst case scenario, they tell him there's nothing they do, so hes stuck where he is now

best case, he gets the money

    so nothing to lose really

But if they requested a stop payment from their bank, is there much paypal can do on their end since the payment is being stopped from the source and not just by them?

to be honest i have no idea, but hed never know without calling, maybe all paypal can do is flag the guys account and limit his access, then he cant use the money anyways, not the best solution but still better than nothing

I thought you new about the gift option... Selling/buying isn't what it use to be, no one can be trusted unless it's SoC With his pink handbang :D
