I think I posted my theory on the book on the OTHER post about Harry Potter.

 

Ok board has died down a bit so here is another discussion point.

The two way mirror given to Harry by Sirius.

I was re-reading OoTP today and came across this bit where SB give HP the mirror, and it seemed to me like J.K. was making a big deal of it.

Now I know that HP smashes his mirror at the end of the book, but could there not be something about them in Deathly Hallows?

Idk, maybe i just assumed him breaking the mirror simbolizes sirius' death and nothing more

 

JKR said that the two way mirror will "help more than you think," so I'm going to say that yeah, it'll show up again. There's also been mention of Sirius' motorcycle coming back.

I'm not sure what the mirror will help with though...

 

Maybe, somehow Harry will be able to contact the now dead Sirius through Sirius' mirror whos knows

 

but he smashed that mirror after Siruis died and i think the mirrors come in pairs and one can only contact that one mirror and not other ones.
