Ipad- video?

    I'm wondering if any of you know how to get videos not from the itunes store onto the ipad. Is this possible?

    This is for a friend not me, but I'd love to give him my collection.

    I'm not sure but if you convert your videos to mp4 (Not sure but I think mp4) and put on itunes you could transfer it to the ipad. I used to do this with my ipod video.

    Most of my videos are already in the mp4 format so that's useful :)

    If you download CucuSoft Video Converter (DVD to IPod) then you can pretty much convert ANY file type to an IPod/IPhone/IPad compatible format.

    I've ripped some of my favourite movies onto the computer, then converted them into MP4 or whatever file type it is, then put onto my IPhone for whenever I've on a long flight/car trip. (Although now I watch it through my in car screen :p)

    This will also work for any downloaded movies you may want on your IPad/Phone/Pod
