I'll just ask my asian friend to get me one cause its cheaper and has mod-chip included also the games there are so cheap.
i plan to get the ps3 and the wii in a while after the huge rush, and maybe a price drop i need to get a hdtv before that anyways..
No it's not. i love how there's so much hype on things that aren't even that great. It will be useless when PS4 comes out, and the cycle continues.. >.<
The playstation 3 is a ripoff. Basically there's a 600 dollar one and a 700 dollar one. The 600 dollar one doesn't even play the ps2 or ps games, you have to buy the 700 dollar one if you want that. The graphics aren't that great. And the only special thing about it is that if you actually bought a PSP you can use it as a remote control. It's not special, not interesting, and not worth it. Besides there's barely any good games out for it. And by time a few more games come out for it it's going to be about 200 dollars. People are stupid, that worries me.
Frankly i never really liked playstation games ever. I'm a Nintendo fan, and the games they come out with are way more fun for me personally, so this PS3 is definitely no worth dieing for.
From what I've heard there have been some problems with the first couple batches they distributed. Good thing I decided to wait/can't afford it right now
Some of the statements posted are what the people said about getting the Xbox when it first came out several years ago. It may not be worth it right now, but when prices drop, it will be worth its price.
