Re: Lenny Conundrum - Answers it may say digital sum but it's actually a digital root...silly tnt well I just verified melch's answers using a different method... two properties of digital roots are... o1. the digital root of a product of numbers is the same as the product of the digital roots of the numbers (ie. 12*16 = 192->12->3 is the same as 3*7 = 21->3) o2. the digital root of a sum of numbers is the same as the sum of the digital roots of the numbers (ie. 35+83 = 118->10->1 is the same as 8+2 = 10->1) one way to solve this problem since the powers are so big that calculators can't handle them (and because I don't have mathematica) would be to break them up into smaller pieces and because tnt is cruel and mean, they made the powers prime numbers...so instead of using a power of a power of a power etc., we have to use the power of a power etc. multiplied by the power of a power etc.
