Microsoft Vista

I was thinking of getting vista from limewire, so u say keep XP for now?

 

I'm getting my own laptop soon that already has Window Vista on it. Finally managed to convince my dad.

 

Jane, I would try to get it with XP Instead, as I have read, vista is the worst operating system in the world!

:cry: unfortunately I've heard that vista is one of the worst new operating systems for various reasons such as, it's security is invasive and it requires at least 2 gb of ram to run so im not getting it till the next version comes out

 

Microsoft should had waited and r&d on its flaws before releasing it to the public, it just creates a bad image for itself. now the whole world is saying that vista is bad.

 

I heard gamers should stay away from Vista, but I didn't get the details. It was on some news report and I only caught the tail end.

 

i heard a different thing though. vista would be a better experience for gamers. it has directx10 which is only available in vista. and it makes the graphics really nice

 

unfortunalteley in the future only vista programs will be released so we are gonna have to have it.

 

how long do you figure before vista only programs are very common

 

I'd give it a year and a half, but Vista probably runs .exe extensions also so it doesn't matter, just wait till a cracked version comes out that makes it so Microsoft can't monitor you, or if your just after directx10, look somewhere for a ripped copy

 

as i see it windows is going to leave us with no choice in the matter of upgrading as eventually they will no longer support windows xp.
