    i semi-liked the opening ceremonies.

    impressive moments:
    snowboarder at the beginning
    lang singing hallelujah
    poetry guy
pretty much anytime they used the screen, the whales particularly.
also loved those fabric? pieces that were hanging that made totem poles and then trees. those were cool.
sarah mclachlan singing, although the dancers were not so good. they're from the 3rd largest ballet company in canada. its the olympics, wayne gretzky was there and they couldn't afford to get the national ballet of canada?? huh??
all the first nations stuff at the beginning

    mediocre moments:
led big bear, didn't really understand the concept, it was really stiff and moved weird but just as a ginormous bear it was very pretty
nelly furtado and bryan adams, although im not a fan of both.
punk/batman fiddler...this one is not sucky, but mediocre for me because when you closed your eyes, which i was doing cause i was super tired watching the opening ceremonies on the east coast (ontario), they really were amazing musicians

    sucky moments:
the "dancers" on the edge when the athletes came in. wth were they wearing?
something someone said earlier, at beijing the things actually looked like they were floating, no rope visible. here not only was the rope visible but the harnesses too.

I loved the fiddlers personally, but I'm a celtic singer so it shouldn't be a surprise. I thought the outfits were dumb though

and you know how everyones all saying how the red mittens are extremely hard to get a hold of. the zellers in my city use them as decorations, thats how many they have. i would say hundreds upon hundreds of mittens.

Wow I thought I was going crazy. loco, I saw your winking face and then when I looked back it was smiling. Then I finally realized that it moves xD

On a related note, USA sucks cause they're like, raping these whole olympics. It was supposed to be us >_<
Whatever, we'll still get 2 golds from curling, we should get a gold in Ice Dance tonight. AND GOLD IN HOCKEY YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYA!

    Canada's better.

I tend to like the winter olympics a lot more than the summer olympics.

Shaun White is amazing. I loved the part where he had the gold medal already after his first run, and so it didn't matter what he go ton his second run. They showed him talking to his coach and he was like "What should i do man?" "Whatever you want, just have fun." "Can i just ride down the middle?" "No." And then he beat his first run lol.

Also I don't really understand how we (U.S.) are so good at the olympics. I thought China and some of those other countries like train their kids from 4 years old for their olympic events.

This is the first time I've actually watched any of the Winter Olympics and now I like it WAY more than the summer olympics XD It's definitely more entertaining!!! I always thought I preferred the summer ones, without even really giving the winter ones a chance
