well, on my legit account i have almost 60,000 lots of shares which i bought at 15np each, so far i have only seen one stock go up to 60 which i immediately cashed out on.
They'll all get there or close to there eventually...you should check out the stock report card on neodaq.com if you haven't already.
the stock report card that is accessible from the neodaq.com front page is not a very good one, as it averages grades from all sell points. here is a better one: 8) http://www.neodaq.com/index.php?page=ch ... ays_run_60 gives you the listing of stocks according to your exact sell points, as different stocks behave differently at different price levels.
I generally am happy with small profits, I buy stocks at value of 15 and sell if they increase. +1 is fine with me, 1k can do a lot of dailies. I don't really see it as something you can make tons of money out of, even though its possible.
the fact is, it IS something you can make tons of money out of. if you had kept the stocks instead of selling them, you would actually get more profits. when i just started stocks i averaged around 100k/month on profits. thats 3k per day.. much more than i would get if i sold them immediately once they went up. now im averaging probably 200k/month. there was a post somewhere on the neodaq forums that showed mathematically from past statistics that the optimum sell point for stocks is 66. (perfect balance between waiting time and amount of profits)
I dont get how the points of the stock market increase. do they x2 or x2 or do they just go up by one neopoint or two?
That suddenly reminded me, I still have shares I bought at 32 each... I've kept them forever since they took that long to rise. Now I know they actually DO go that high up. When they do I'm gonna sell them.
no its not. stocks with a low current value (probably 20 and below) can move at most 1 point up or down per price update. stocks with progressively higher current value can move a maximum of progressively more points per price update. max ive seen is a movement of 4 points for a stock around value of 60. this also explains why the big stocks (eg POWR) are capable of moving up to 50 points in a day. (price update is once every half hour btw)
stocks Hehe I used to love investing in the stock market My old account had about 400k invested in about 6 different stocks but it got iced. Now i don't think its such a great idea to invest if my account is going to be frozen alot Wasted nps I like BOTT
Re: stocks i like bott too, i had 36k shares in it. 3mill+ invested in stocks. then i got iced unfairly. lost everything, never invested again
How often do they update prices? It seems like, once a day? If you'd read this thread... you would have seen your answer in a post. - Marlene
