I had several suggestions, some, that I've mentioned before, but never really went anywhere. MOTM - member of the month, where a member receives an award...this one's debatable :O TOTW - topic of the week, like where you can nominate a post, and it receives a vote. Then, people can earn rewards for their posts. Referrals - add a referral system to NF... Yeah, I can't think of more at the top of my head, but reply to all so they don't die out
The others I could see happening, but this one... :| What would the reward be? FC I'd guess. With this, I'd see people asking others just to sign up and never come again just for 10FC. Maybe, just maybe we could do rep for referrals. Rep is more of a pride thing, rather than a reward that people can abuse. If we did this, there would have to be a lot of rules centered around it. Like maybe your referral has to reach level I before you receive the ##FC or only so much of reward X can be given pre day/week/month.
you're thinking vBulletin...there might be a MOD for phpbb but idk we'd have to do this manually (like the motm thing)...and well...i think people are too lazy XD
yeah the referal system is vBulletin... then again all the forums I've been apart of were vBulletin... So may I ask why the preference to phpBB?
Very true, but phpBB is very hard to mod, and apparently functions a little weird vBulletin has this problem with the database even when paid, unless you can Premium -- it's wwaayy too much :X:
