Welcome Yes, rules and stuff are pretty basic, all common sense stuff. Just try not to curse excessively and gravedig old threads.
ok, now I must read the rules. This is the only forum that has that "cursing" rule. lol I may get surprised again on how this forum is completely different. As I said before, I thought all threads on the first page were free game. It is that way on every forum (but this one apparently). I am kind of suprised that the...8th thread on the first page is really old enough to be considered "gravedigging'. I may host an activity contest later for that is quite sad because it is this forums 2nd year (no offense to Rickey )Also, my bad, cursing is allowed on every forum but this one as well. You know zook, you never denied calling me fat. :'( By the way, what programs do you want to see here? Legendary? I wouldn't say that but I have been on the forums for a llloooonnnggg time. I was around when "the greats" were still programming in vb6 (now they don't do it anymore or moved on to java or something) .
Cursing isn't an explicit "rule", but it gets annoying if someone does it excessively. Plus I myself don't see any reason to curse unless something bad enough happens that warrants it. Everyone should be nice and use friendly language (generally) in my opinion. And yeah, some areas in this forum are kinda inactive so you have to watch out a bit. This isn't the largest community, but you'll find that its much friendlier than most others. No offense to anyone, but I wouldn't call anyone who programs in some Microsoft language "legendary".
I warn all cursing heavily, I use it every day in rael life, but the age users of this forum is YOUNG! Id hate my kids to see such things, so i dont expect it to be in places they'd visit. Whether its an official rule or not, ill warn ya for it if its bad. Although saying that i use minor words myself. Also - Gravedigging is a 7day old topic rule, If for some reason a forum is quiet, then so what. the rule stands, EXCEPTIONS ARE ALLOWED! Just be sensible. Also the forum is expons ricky is another admin.
