I like Muse, Radiohead, Switchfoot, Jonathan Coulton, John Mayer, Hawksley Workman, Flobots, Dispatch, Elbow, Jack Johnson, Pink Floyd, Regina Spektor, The Fray, Tunng, Train, The Police... I could go on In short, give me the good stuff, I like it. Throw out the generic stuff.
i dont have any favorite bands D: I listen to all kinds of music really. Good charlotte is a good band, i love their old and new stuff. green day is okay. I like boys like girls.

Rock Music is definitely the way to go. My Favorite bands are: Fall Out Boy, Incubus, The Rocket Summer, Elton John, ColdPlay (parachuets is the best album), Sublime, Anberlin, and many more but i think thats good for now...
Muse is easily my favorite band. They are one of the best live bands in the entire world, they nearly sound better live than they do recorded... just brilliant. Their musing writing is top-notch too, always beautiful chord progression and distortion elements. My favorite part is Matthew Bellamy's masterful talent with the guitar and the classical piano, which is incorporated fantastically into a few songs (Apocalypse Please has it throughout and a powerful piano ending, Butterflies and Hurricanes has a mind-blowing piano solo). I would urge everyone to listen to some Muse; only note I have for new listeners is that you may take a little while to get used to the fact that they don't edit out the breathing on their album tracks, partly to be more natural and partly so that the live sounds just like the album. At first the breathing in between notes can bother you a bit but like any band, you've gotta get used to their lead singer a little bit. I also love Chris Smither, piano (like Rachmaninoff and Debussy), Queen, and much else.
My top three, right now, would be Anberlin, Yellowcard, and Lost Prophets. They all are in the same genre, but they all have a different sound to them. I listen to just about anything though.
Sublime, the Doors, Billy Joel, Bob Marley are some of my favourites. Sublime is probably the #1 though.
Meh Rock bands: ACDC Deep purple Queen Mettalica (more metal than rock) Guns and Roses If I think of more I will tell you=) P.S. The above list can be classified as Rock, Falloutboy etc. is not rock!
i really like Abingdon Boys School, OK Go, The Pillows, Orange Range, Mindless Self Indulgence...but for others there are I.O.S.Y.S, Lords of Acid, L'Arc-en-Ciel, and a new artsit BECCA. :3 some of those are japanese. xD;

I like a lot of different bands/music, from AC/DC to Kings of Leon, love Queen, Guns N Roses, all those old rock bands, they know how to rock :yup:
