I'm at the age where I <strike>want</strike> NEED to find something to do for the rest of my life. I'm drawing a blank. So, I'm asking everyone what kind of jobs they've had, both good and bad.

    Jobs I've done:
    Dog Grooming Assistant
    Prep Cook
Sold candy as a concession stand
Worked at a major grocery store
    Kitchen at Burger King
    Washed Dishes
    Surveys
    Movie Theatre jobs

    What about anyone else?

(SoC - Moved thread to General discussion. Thread had nothing to do with neopets :p)

In the past I've been having jobs like cleaning stuff, washing dishes and that kind of underpaid jobs. I hated most of them though.

The last few years (since I'm in university) I've been working as webdesigner/webdeveloper (I even did some multimedia stuff). I've been working for some companies already, but since I study as well it's easiest to work as a freelancer, so I can plan my own working times.

I've never had a job. The closest thing to a job was when I joined this college prep program where they helped you get scholarships, gave you expensive etiqette (excuse my spelling), an expensive show to a well-known motivational speaker,
free books, and an understanding of what you want to do in the future, and you get paid.

I've worked in a petrol station, babysitting, clothes shops, kilt shop, a nightclub (that was fun), a few bars and hotels.
That was all mostly part-time while I was at school or uni.
Last year I worked in a Chem lab, that was boring lol but that's supposed to be what I want to do with the rest of my life... chemistry...

I liked working in the nightclub, that was fun and suited me well because I'm awake late into the night all the time, and we didn't finish until 4am.

Same with my lil brother. He's been trying to find a summer job and since the laws are so strict then nobody can employ young people (under 16) anymore. It's a shame.

Yea I agree, 14 is a good age to start. I started work when I was 15, that was OK too. It was in my Grandads business though.

I forgot to say before I also worked as a berry picker when I was younger, that was a nice summer job :)

Wow, I've never ever worked in my life..

Parents in Thailand are different from American/westerners, they are overprotective of their children, only really poor people in lower class communities make their children work. o_O

Most food relate jobs suck unless you have a passion for them. I worked at Mickie Ds and Jack in the crack as well as for a catering company. I myself couldn't handle the repetitiveness of either job. If your at the point in your life where you need to figure out what YOU want to do my suggestion is find what you love doing and pursue it. Its better to have a job and love what your doing so you don't regret waking up in the morning either that or get into a trade and apprentice and whatnot to become so highly paid you don't care what you're doing.

vvvv Thanks I didn't make it though vvvvv

Dog walking is a good one for younger people too, or washing cars. It's like self employed work, but for kids :D
