What makes you keep playing?

For me it is the virtual economy that keeps me into the Neopets world. Plus there is so much more to do when making neopoints isn't much fun anymore.

 

Well i don't really know, maybe the training and my pets.

 

Hey, there's just so many varied things that you can waste your life on.

 

I haven't played in well over a year but then a buddy starts talking about this "war" so it peaked my interest. I always played to put a big gallery together and train pets in case there ever was a good war.

 

I'm starting grad school in a few months, so I'm just trying to build up my account as much as possible and then sell all my assets for some extra money when I start school.

 

My girlfriend plays and so I started back up to play with her. The economy is interesting, I played the economy in WoW with great results and now I'm lookin' to make some money for my girlfriend to get all her cute things she wants lol

it's a game that doesn't require too much dedication compared to alot of other video games

 

checked in one day and found out there was an upcoming war so I started to play again
Neo's always been that game I never seem to get tired of even after all these years. It's mostly the fact that it's so easy to cheat on Neo that makes me keep playing it. I never get bothered when one of my accounts get iced since it's so easy to start over.

For me it is an on and off thing. I will play when I am bored. But some things that do bring me back would be buying stuff with the autobuyer. See what expensive items I could buy. I also love playing the stock market on Neopets.

 

I'm so jealous your gf plays. Mine doesn't get it at all.

 

I personally like the lore, and stuff like that. I like reading about past plots and stories.

 

I think that i cant stop playing because i have too free time

 

Not sure :/ hadn't been on in a good 2.5 yrs except every 6ish months to put my pets in the neolodge and make sure everything was as I left it in case I ever went back. Now I'm only on again cos I'm procrastinating from uni work lol just getting a feel for it again. I used to be really into it back when I was at school, don't think I'll ever be that keen again, but now and then its a distraction!

 

It's a good time dump too if you have nothing to do, being free to play and manipulating economies is always fun

Making money and building up an good portfolio!

 

restocking keeps me playing pretty much.

 

I just come back every now and then. Stock Market, Trading Post and Restocking are my 3 favourite things. Restocking mostly as it takes skill, almost like a multiplayer game I guess. Also enjoy the battledome from time to time.
