I used to love the Twilight series.
    -gets shot-

At the moment it would have to be A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess. And I'm studying it for English so I'm pretty happy. ^^

Honestly I don't do a lot of reading, but my favorite book of all time is Green Eggs and Ham. It was the first book I read. Other than that I would say Flat Stanley, xD.

If any of you ever have the opportunity to pick up Stranger From a Strange Land or Catch 22, by Robert Heinlein and Joseph Heller, DO IT! In my opinion they are two of the funniest, most well written, interesting, and meaningful books I've ever read. They are always the two that stand out in my mind. I'd also like to recommend The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, it's another favorite.

Fiction books are boring and lame and pointless. Read non-fiction and learn

You couldn't be more wrong in my opinion. Sure you may learn more factual information from non-fiction, but by reading fiction (and non-fiction) one vastly improves their vocabulary, learns new perspectives, and a lot of times good fiction writers write about something pertaining to the time period. You gain insight to what life was like for them and what their views are, and sometimes they can really make you think.

My favourate book series is "The Meditator". It's very romantic. So far, I have only read 2 book of the series since my local libray doesn't have the others.
I was also amazed that the author was Meg Cabbot, the creator of "The Princess Diaries", my childhood favourate movie. I'm thinking of buying her books to support her.

Tuesdays with Morrie. It is so inspiring and has taught me sooooooooo much about life. I'd recommend it to anyone. Another good choice is Child Called It.

What a great topic, I feel like I have a new reading list after going through everyone's posts :D

My favorite book is Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach.
Why? I enjoy stories about personal transformations and journeys. In fact, this book is probably why I enjoy them so much!
I first read it when I was very young, and would recommend it to anyone.

I like Freakonomics and its sequel, SuperFreakonomics. The statistical analysis they do is very interesting, though some of their methodology might be questionable...
