I got a wii in anticipation that ssbb would be one of the best games ever because I thought it would be melee 2.0 online. Unfortunately, they removed most of the advanced techniques that added depth to melee (wavedashing, l-cancelling, etc.) and online is pretty bad. Brawl is a good game, but not a great game in my opinion. I was pleasantly surprised with Super Mario Galaxy; it's a fantastic game. Twilight princess is also a good game. Haven't played the metroid game, but it's probably solid too. I guess I'm happy with my decision to get a wii, but I am pretty disappointed with ssbb.
get a wii. sure the ps3 may have great graphics but it is about the gameplay. the wii has great online service and motion sensor controls!
uhmm buy a wii because i have one and its really fun.. even for my parents.. it may no have the raphics that ps3 does have but it makes up for it by the interaction of the gameplay.. i just bought mario kart wii and i is so fun. i already beat all of my other wii games but i still ply them on a regular basis.. my friend has a ps3 and we both think it gets seriously boring after a while or if you have friends over... plus wii offers a way to exercise your body and mind.
PS3 at the moment don't have really great games... Xbox 360 up to me is the best Between Ps3 and WII... Well... Buy a WII
I've only tried Wii games and loved it. I gotta borrow that PS from my friend.. I choose Wii since I can't afford the other one :]
the wii is way more fun! It's more of a social thing than the PS3. People are more involved in it. But the PS3 is something you can play with by yourself.
i would chose wii too, i heard the ps3 use alot of electricity, the same amount as a fridge o.o plus all it has are sports games, which i do not like, at all
I have the wii, and though I must say its fun for the first couple of months but then it just dies for me. I enjoy Wii Sports alot the bowling never gets old (its my fav). The golf is really fun too! I think still Wii Sports is the best game for the Wii hands down. The comes Brawl... I got Wii for SSBB anticipating that it would be awesome.... It was good but not great. Pretty much Melee with better graphics and no wave dashing xD. Online is dumb. Half the time you're spending online is running around the house to find a pen and paper to write down some friend codes. By the time youve found someting to write with you've been disconnected by the lag.... lol. The other half the time you're sitting there shaking the wiimote really fast playing some game and if anyone who walked in didn't know any better, they would've thought you were doing... err you know, the deeeed (btw if you don't know what this refers too, don't ask, just wait a couple of years). The sensor for the wiimote is shafty sometimes and doesn't register as well causing the cursor to be really shaky on the screen. Overall its a great system but it just didn't do it for me. It's great for having friends over and just chill and play some wii sports. I gave it to my little brother who loves it but I guess I could consider myself a more serious gamer and I'm currently looking for a xbox 360. Right now I guess I'm stuck with my ps2 =D
XD head desk mate when all your game system has to offer is a slightly innovative interface that really does become annoying after a while it's only a matter of time that's not to say the Wii isn't a huge success but I don't think it's fair to compare it to a PS3 at all, it's like comparing a mobile to a stationary system, you're aiming for a different market PS3's problem isn't too many sports games...well alone...it's the great shootum, raceum, sportum problem with all game stations atm...when's the last great RPG anyone? final fantasy and zelda doesn't count...it's a game industry problem, add MMO and there's the computer gaming industry right there as to the power...that has to be the most absurd reason to ever pick a gaming unit, or judge one...and even worse considering the PS3 is likely more powerful then many of the computers systems, posters on here are using...my DS uses less power too
I have a Wii and I have to say it is amazingly fun. Definitely get a Wii, I've tried PS2 before the experience is definitely not the same
While I don't have either, I'd rather get a PS3. Honestly for me I can see the Wii getting old really fast. Sometimes you want to play Mario games, but in general if you want a game that is very involved in both gameplay and graphics, you're going to be more satisfied with a PS3. It was that way for me with gamecube and ps2.
My cousin has already bought a XBox 360... Guys is fantastic o_o Take it lol xD Microsoft is going to release more and more games... Like Spore! Check it out :O
