I won't install Vista even if there are updates...Vista will later replace XP like 98 got replaced by 2000 and so on :)

When that happens only then i will use Vista

Yeah, they watch EVERYTHING you are doing on Vista, anything even slightly illegal will get you busted.

No cracked software is able to be used on it either

and it will slow down your computer significantly

My computer is too old. I will get vista and a new computerwhen my computer quits in a few months. You should wait until you here of a major bug on vista before getting it so you know the major bug is fixed

It's too buggy right now from what I heard. I kind of wanted to get it but not really anymore.

I do like how you can stretch out your window and all those cool features, but I'll stick with XP for now.

The ultimate edition of vista is basically all of them. Those that are running vista, how much ram do you have and does it run well?

I tried on 1 GB. It's alright like XP more.

But Vista would be sweet on Core 2 Dual.

Read in the papers its quite good for parents. They can now restrict all games. So parents can leave only mindsweeper or smething for their children...lol

i downloaded one of the betas for Vista. It has very OSX-like feel, very smooth and everything. the best part was ready boost, the software that lets u use a usb drive as ram.

No..use the ultimate version..you will see that there are a lot differences between the two. The lag is because of ram and it need dual core.
You have those two..u will love vista ultimate...except for bugs.

It seems like Microsoft is trying to lean more towards OSX with Vista. I hate Microsoft.
