Im pretty sure it would be free at first... Then maybe it would go members (runescape) but I think they'd have to get pretty popular first.

It'll be free to anyone who recieves a beta account; they will not lose their data, either, as long as their achievements are legitimately gotten. (ie, if they take advantage of an exploit in beta, they will not keep those stats.)

Keith is programming it in AJAX. If there were a percentage of completion at the moment, i'd say... 5% We've got a lot of work to do.

Instead of using the pencil tool (or mspaint), use the paint brush tool in PS. It makes things look much cleaner, it makes things look more round and perfect, and its not all exactly the same color so it looks nicer.

I made that with JUST the size 3 brush tool in photoshop, and I made it big, it's going to be scaled down, and as you can see, things look a lot nicer...And you can add a lot of detail if you make it bigger and scale it down. If you knew me, you'd know that I have that exact same bleach stain on my pants, and theres always holes on my pockets, and that I wear those bracelets every day (I've actually never taken them off...) and my shoelaces are ripped.

[IMG] As you can see, it's nice, clean, and pretty realistic (I know it's not the style you're going for, as I have my whole body)...And it's faceless o_O

    Just a suggestion

It's hard to have consistency with that.

Not really, I just edited in an example of something I've made, and pretty much I could use that as a template and make any of my friends or something.

What I mean is - I have to make a frame for every position a sprite is in. Walk 1, Walk 2, Walk 3, Walk 4. Attack 1, Attack 2 and so on. If they're brushed instead of penciled, I have to make sure the lines on each match up perfectly. It's difficult.

I see your argument, but I think it would only take a bit longer, it doesn't have to be perfect, like pixel art does. But whatever your preference is, I just think they look kind of awkward, maybe it's their pale skin. You should make some Black and Hispanic ones. :p

I've got to figure out how I can draw from what's on the left to make it look as nifty as what's on the right.
