Yeah. Old-school to me is Red/Blue and Silver/Gold. Reading this topic does make me want to play again but I'm so lazy to download an emulator. Pokemon was the best game ever on a gameboy though. Nothing could compete :funky:
Well they are from 2004 and under...Thats kinda old school! I should find an emulator and post it!! I have one for my PSP but not PC.

Haha thanks! Aron has a double evolution, It evolves into Lairon at level 32, And then again evolves into Aggron at level 42. Aggron is really good! It has super high Defense and Attack but not very high HP and terrible speed.
Soul Silver is probably one of the only pokemon games I haven't played! Is it good? I heard some of the new pokemon are kinda...you know.
Wait, I had heart gold.. same difference.. They are a remake of the original Gold/Silver versions. I think its fun, I don;t mind the new pokemon so its all good.
Quick question: Do any emulators work well for Nintendo DS? (And is compatible with a mac?) I haven't been able to play any of the DS Pokemon games because I could never find a decent emulator for it. And, I don't wanna spend money on buying a DS and the game. Anyone have a mac and has been able to play these DS games?
I dont really know...I only have emulators for PSP. If anyone has a PSP I can help you out there with N64 to PSP emulators, Gameboy to PSP emulators and Nintendo DS to PSP emulators. Also with the new DS out im sure you could find an old Nintendo DS for $30. Used of course.

The fourth and fifth generation of Pokemon seem to have worse designs... I guess they're running out of ideas.
Hm, I kinda like the green one. And the pig thing is bearable. But I really don't like the blue one.... It's like a baby clown? But yeah, starters have gone quite downhill. Bulbasaur/Charmander/Squirtle and Chikorita/Cyndaquil/Totadile were the best. Treecko must be the absolute worse though. I hate that thing.
Hmm I could stand treecko. I just think the generation one starters were the best, and the got progressively worse.
